Also known as Weed Gushers and White Gushers, the Gushers strain has a robust fruity flavor. While not overly sweet as the name would suggest, Gushers does have a noticeable candy taste with a nice balance of lemon-flavored cookies and earthiness. This enticing and popular cultivar has a terpene profile of Caryophyllene, Limonene, and Humulene.
Borrowing its name from the 1990s-era candy that “gushes” fruity liquid when bitten, the Gushers strain has a lineage of Triangle Kush and Gelato #41. The Gushers fruit snacks were discontinued in 2018, but the strain lives on. The Gushers strain is also referred to as “weed gushers,” to avoid possible confusion with the nostalgic corn-syrup-filled candy.
The Gushers strain comes from the legendary breeders and cultivators at Bay-Area’s Cookies Fam Genetics, winning multiple awards for this strain, including Best Hybrid Flower at the High Times Cannabis Cup.
With its 23%, Gushers is a great choice for those who look to consume cannabis for symptoms like pain, depression, and stress. As my wife and I prepared to celebrate our two-year anniversary, we decided to invite Gushers as our third wheel. After a nice walk and dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Gushers joined the festivities. It turned out to be the perfect sweet and citrusy dessert cultivar. The fruity flavor profile had our mouths watering, and it didn’t stop there. We both felt a burst of energy behind our eyes, accompanied by gentle tingles throughout our bodies. Gradually, we were eased into a calm, relaxing sensation—not sleepy, just fully at ease. Any lingering stress from the week melted away, making it the perfect addition to our evening.
